The University of Jordan (UJ) alumnus and national gymnast Ahmed Abu Al Soud has been recognized by his majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein for his historic achievement as the first Arab to win a medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The  King bestowed the King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein Medal of Excellence of the first order on Abu Al Soud, who made history by earning the Kingdom’s first world medal in gymnastics last Saturday.

Abu Al Soud won a silver medal in the pommel horse at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Liverpool, United Kingdom, from October 29 to November 6.
