The University of Jordan (UJ) achieved outstanding results in the QS Stars international rating system for the year 2022. UJ obtained a five-star rating (Excellent), for a period of 3 years and advanced 84 points in total in comparison to 2019.
The university's performance is measured according to a set of criteria and indicators selected according to best international practices and standards, namely: Teaching, Employability, Internationalization, and Research.
As for the advanced criteria, it includes Online Learning, Innovation, and Inclusiveness, as well as the Specialist Criteria which includes Programme Strength.
UJ president, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, commended the achievement and stressed the need for maintain excellence in learning, teaching and scientific research, emphasizing the importance of increasing local and global partnerships, and the need to build a participatory and sustainable relationship with society and the business sector to contribute to the development of knowledge and building future generations.
