UJ Scholars Win Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers

The University of Jordan (UJ) professors Ayman M Hamdan- Mansour from the School of Nursing, Yahya Abdel Rahman Othman from the School of Agriculture, and Raed Salah Algharabat from the School of Business have been announced winners of Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers 2022.

 

Hamdan- Mansour won the award in the field of medical and health sciences, Osman in the field of technological and agricultural sciences, While Dr. Raed Raed Salah Algharabat  won in the field of administrative and economic sciences.

 

This award is given in recognition of an outstanding scientific output whose distribution and dissemination contributes to an increase in scientific and applied knowledge, as well as solving priority problems locally, regionally and globally, and the dissemination of a culture of scientific research. This is done in six basic disciplines, with the award's scientific committee deciding on two different ideas for each field each year.

 

The winners of this year's edition of the award are 17 scholars from different Arab nationalities; 7 Jordanians, 3 Egyptians, 2 Lebanese, 2 Saudi Arabian, and one each from Syria, Sudan and Tunisia.
