Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan Visits UJ

The University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, received in his office, on Tuesday, the Ambassador of Hungary to Jordan, Attila Kali, accompanied by Regina Surany, the cultural attaché of the embassy.


The two sides discussed cooperation prospects in fields such as offering students the chance to learn Hungarian language at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and the Center of Consultation and Training, In addition to holding joint lectures and seminars at the university on Hungary and its culture and history.


The two guests also visited the Hungarian corner in the university library accompanied by its director, Dr. Mujahid Thneibat. The two sides agreed on supporting the content of the corner with the latest references and publications that would serve students wishing to learn the Hungarian language and discover the country’s rich cultural heritage.
