UJ Contributes 500 Books to League of Arab States Library
Jordan's permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Amjad Adaileh, on Wednesday, presented to the Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, a 500-book contribution to the League's Library as a gift from the University of Jordan (UJ).
 
For this end, Aboul Gheit received in his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Adaileh, accompanied by the Chairman of the University's Cultural Forum, Dr. Ismail Al-Saudi, and Director of the Media, Public Relations, and Radio Unit, Dr. Muhammad Wasef.
 
The delegation also handed over a letter from UJ President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat directed to Aboul Gheit, in which Obeidat applauded the role of the League of Arab States in strengthening joint Arab cooperation.
 
The donation includes books and publications from various fields of knowledge to be placed under Jordan's pavilion in the League's library. The majority of these books are publications by the University, particularly the Deanship of Academic Research, Center for Strategic Studies, and literatures of faculty, staff, and students at the University.
