UJ Holds AGRO-TEC Project Kick-off Meeting

Under the patronage of the University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, the university held today the Kick-off meeting of the EU's project AGRO-TEC, an Erasmus Plus projects.

 

The agenda of the two-day meeting includes two sessions during which the participants will address topics related to the project.

 

The meeting sessions featured experts in smart agriculture from the Ministry of Agriculture, Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission and the National Agricultural Research Center as well as the project's teams from partner universities in Jordan, Palestine, Slovakia, Germany and Netherlands.

 

The participants of the meeting discussed the project's work packages, the implementation mechanism which will extend to three years, and roles of the partners. The agenda of this inaugural meeting will be completed on its second day tomorrow at the National University College of Technology.
