The University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Azmi Mahafzah on Monday visited the Jordan Society for Science & Culture, where he delivered a lecture on higher education in Jordan.
The lecture was attended by a crowed of academics, scholars, and educators.
In his lecture, Mahafzah displayed his vision on the reality of higher education in Jordan and challenges facing the sector, such as financial challenges, campus violence, admission policies, infrastructure and others.
The president also spoke about new decisions to counter academic challenges and improve higher education, such as the introduction of a package of courses and the adoption of a blended learning approach.
