UJ Holds Orientation for Outgoing Exchange Students

On Thursday, the International Affairs Unit at the University of Jordan (UJ) held an orientation session for students who received Erasmus Plus scholarships to study abroad for the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023.
 
During the session, a number of students who completed their exchanges shared their tips and experiences studying at European universities.

 
Director of the International Affairs Unit, Prof. Hadeel Yaseen, said that the meeting aims at informing the students who were selected for an exchange through Erasmus+ mobility program, about the scholarship's regulations, conditions, duration and process of study, to ensure achieving the best benefit from it.

 
According to Yaseen, since the beginning of the program, 478 outgoing students have received the scholarship, 325 incoming from various European universities.
 
Yaseen added that it is expected that 30 students will leave the university at the beginning of the second semester to 12 universities, in 10 European countries, are Finland, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Britain, Belgium, Italy, Russia and Romania.
