Nursing students from the University of Jordan's (UJ) School of Nursing on Sunday took the nurses oath in presence of the School's dean, Prof. Areej Othman, faculty, and staff, as a prerequisite to graduation and obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
The students pledged to commit to the profession’s ethical codes and accepting responsibility and accountability as members of the profession.
Othman spoke at the ceremony and expressed pride in the future nurses who have been equipped with science and knowledge at the school which holds excellence as a slogan since its establishment in 1972.
After the ceremony, the students were greeted by their proud families and friends.
