A group of Pharmacy students at the University of Jordan (UJ) have visited Jubaiha Comprehensive Health Center as part of the clinical training team's efforts at the School of Pharmacy to enhance the capacities of sixth year students and serve the community at once.

The students held a set of activities for the Center's visitors aimed at spreading awareness about several chronic diseases including diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism and atherosclerosis, explaining the symptoms associated with heart attacks, and how to prevent them before they occur.

The students also drew attention to the importance of healthy diets and appropriate exercise for patients.

According to the Dean of the School, Prof. Rula Darwish, these extracurricular activities for students allow them to engage with the local community, develop practical experiences and communication skills.
